چکیده

In a multi-objective optimization process, several goals are traditionally combined into single fitness function. such cases, the choice of objective function is critical, as it should accurately represent desired goals. Here, we introduce new class functions with non-linearity and switching behavior, also provide method for engineering. Notably, proposed versatile forms growth during optimization, systematic approach integrating expertise in antenna design process. The processes applied to demonstrate their enhanced performance. Our examples consider problems based on both analytical electromagnetic models full-wave simulation. Specifically, designs an end-fire array, pyramidal horn antenna, Yagi-Uda wideband patch antenna. results suggest that, minimum computation effort, non-linear produce better performing when compared linear summation-based function, e.g., 12% higher forward gain 9.3% lower side lobe level 23.38% directivity approximately 1.5 times bandwidth

a new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

Quasi-Gap and Gap Functions for Non-Smooth Multi-Objective Semi-Infinite Optimization Problems

In this paper‎, ‎we introduce and study some new single-valued gap functions for non-differentiable semi-infinite multiobjective optimization problems with locally Lipschitz data‎. ‎Since one of the fundamental properties of gap function for optimization problems is its abilities in characterizing the solutions of the problem in question‎, ‎then the essential properties of the newly introduced ...

Algorithmically Flexible Style Composition Through Multi-Objective Fitness Functions

Creating a musical fitness function is largely subjective and can be critically affected by the designer’s biases. Previous attempts to create such functions for use in genetic algorithms lack scope or are prejudiced to a certain genre of music. They also are limited to producing music strictly in the style determined by the programmer. We show in this paper that musical feature extractors, whi...

Fuzzy programming technique to solve multi-objective transportation problems with some non-linear membership functions

The linear multiobjective transportation problem is a special type of vector minimum problem in which constraints are all equality type and the objectives are conflicting in nature. This paper presents an application of fuzzy goal programming to the linear multiobjective transportation problem. In this paper, we use a special type of nonlinear (hyperbolic and exponential) membership functions t...

Dynamic SLA Management with Forecasting using Multi-Objective Optimizations

Cost-efficient operation while satisfying performance and availability guarantees in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is a challenge for Cloud Computing, as these are potentially conflicting objectives. We present a framework for SLA management based on multi-objective optimizations. The framework features a forecasting model for determining the best virtual machine-to-host allocation given the ...
